Posts Detail:

The RRB wise summary of provisional vacancies in ALP and various posts of Technicians is furnished below for immediate reference. Further candidates may please note these vacancies may increase or decrease as per the requirement of Railway Administration. Accordingly, RRBs will publish Updated Vacancy Table again on their websites indicating the RRB wise revised vacancies against various Railways/Production Units and posts after the completion of First Stage CBT. The parameters (Qualification, Medical Standard and Suitability of the post for PWD etc) of various posts included in the CEN is at Annexure Aand the RRB wise post wise vacancy for all the notified posts is at Annexure B.

Educational Qualification :

Candidates should have the Educational/Technical qualifications indicated for notified posts in the CEN from recognized Institute/University as on the closing date for submission of the ONLINE application. Annexure-A may be referred for the prescribed qualification against each of the posts. Those awaiting results of the final examination of the prescribed educational/technical qualification SHOULD NOT apply.

Diploma/Degree in Engineering will not be accepted in lieu of course completed Act Apprenticeship / ITI for the post of Technicians unless otherwise specified. Graduate Act Apprentice will not be accepted in lieu of Course Completed Act Apprenticeship (CCAA).

Age Limit:

18 to 28 years. The lower and upper age limit is common for all the notified posts and the same shall be reckoned as on 01.07.2018.

Exam Fee:

Candidates applying for the posts in this CEN have to pay the prescribed fee as per their category detailed below:

a. ONLINE fee payment through internet banking or debit/credit cards upto 05.03.2018 till 22.00 Hrs. b. OFFLINE fee payment through i. SBI Bank Branch for Challan Payment mode closes on 05.03.2018 at 13.00 Hrs in any branch of SBI. ii. Post Office Challan Payment mode closes on 03.03.2018 at 13.00 Hrs in any branch of computerized Post Office. All applicable service charges shall be borne by the candidate. If the fee is paid through off line mode viz (b) i & ii above, the receipt should be preserved. The same should be produced on demand at the time of DV

Scale of Pay :

Level 02 of 7th CPC Pay Matrix with initial pay of ₹19900/- plus other allowances as admissible.

Selection Process:

Candidates may please note that the RRB wise, Railway wise vacancies indicated in this CEN are provisional and these may increase or decrease as per the requirement of Railway administrations. Accordingly, RRBs will publish updated Vacancy Table on their websites indicating the RRB wise vacancies against various Railways/Production units and posts after the completion of First Stage CBT. Candidates who secure marks, equal to or above the Minimum Qualifying Marks prescribed for various communities/categories (refer Para 13.1) in the First Stage CBT shall be advised to exercise their option for RRB and preference of Railways and Posts within the chosen RRB. These candidates may study the updated Vacancy Table and exercise the options ONLINE as per their eligibility (Qualification, Medical Standard etc) for various posts. It may be noted that candidates can choose only one RRB and indicate their preference of Railway Units and posts against vacancies notified for the chosen RRB only.

After candidates submit their option for specific RRB/Railway & Posts, RRB wise shortlisting of candidates for Second Stage CBT shall be done at the rate of 15 times (may increase or decrease as per the the requirement of Railway Administration) the updated vacancies for that RRB. The short listing for Second Stage CBT will be based on the merit of candidates in First Stage CBT. The RRB wise short listed candidates for Second Stage CBT shall be advised through the websites of RRBs as well as personal communication to the registered mobile number and email to download their e call letter for appearing in the Second Stage CBT. 9)

Negative Marking: There shall be negative marking for incorrect answers in First and Second Stage CBT. 1/3rd of the marks allotted for each question shall be deducted for each wrong answer. There shall be no negative marking for Computer Based Aptitude Test.

How To Apply:

Only single ONLINE application (common to all the notified posts - ALP and Technicians) has to be submitted by the candidates through the link CEN 01/2018 provided on the official websites of RRBs listed at Para 19.0.

a) Read all the Information and Instructions detailed in the CEN thoroughly before starting the filling up of application by clicking the Link CEN 01/2018 on the official websites of RRBs. It is essential that the candidate understands all information of the notification correctly to prevent any mistakes while filling application

b) Scanned documents JPEG format to be kept ready before filling the application

In order to ensure speedy filling up of application by the candidates, they should keep ready the following documents in digital form before logging in to the application page.

• Candidate Photograph in color: JPEG image of size 15 to 40KB
• SC/ST Certificate (Only for candidates seeking free travel pass): JPEG image of size 50 to 100KB
• Scribe Photograph in color (Wherever applicable): JPEG image of size 15 to 40KB

c) Candidates are further advised to visit website(s) of RRBs frequently to get the latest information on various stages of recruitment process or any changes about this notification.

The onus is on the candidates to prove with valid documents that all the information submitted by them in the ONLINE application is true.

CANDIDATES PLEASE NOTE: Candidates are advised to keep their personal mobile number and personal valid e-mail active throughout the recruitment process, as all communications from RRBs will be only through SMS/email. RRBs will not entertain any request for change of mobile number and e-mail address at any stage. Candidates are advised to no te and preserve their Registration Number for further stages of recruitment process / correspondence with RRBs.

Their Roll Numbers have been arranged below in ascending order horizontally (not in merit order).

RRB NTPC Document Verification Guidelines

Notification:

Candidates Alert-Document Verification for various posts of NTPC (G) under CEN 03/2015

1.0 Candidates shortlisted for Document verification and genuineness of their candidature are advised to read very carefully para 4 (i) to para 4(xv) of the result for the document verification dated 11-08-2017 for various NTPC (Graduate) posts under CEN 03/2015 available on RRB Allahabad website in regard to producing original certificates/document at the time of document verification.

2.0 The candidate should bring all relevant original certificates/documents (as applicable) at the time of document verification on the scheduled date and time.. Please also read para 5 of the result for the document verification dated 11-08-2017 very carefully in this regard.

3.0 The candidate should also bring 2 (two) sets of clear & legible self-attested photocopies each of the original certificates/documents mentioned against para no. 4 (i) to 4 (x) of the result for the document verification dated 11-08- 2017.

4.0 The Candidates, who sought exemption of examination fee on economically Backward class certificate, should bring and produce Income certificate for Economically Backward class in prescribed format (in the same
text as given in the prescribed format) as per Annexure-IV of CEN 03/2015 issued by competent authority given in Annexure-IV and issued on or before the date of submitting online application (on or before closing date 25-01-2016) at the time of document verification. The candidates, who sought exemption of examination fee on minority community, should submit Minority Community self-declaration as per Annexure-V of CEN-03/2015 on non-judicial stamp paper at the time of document verification. Please also read para 4.01 of CEN 03/2015 very carefully.

5.0 The candidates are advised to submit Medical Certificate, by an eye specialist in the prescribed proforma (Annexure-IX) of CEN 03/2015 available on RRB’s website at the time of document verification, in case they have applied for Traffic Apprentices (Cat. No. 2) and Goods Guard (Cat. No.4).

6.0 Please also read para 6 & 7 of the result for the document verification dated 11-08-2017 very carefully.

7.0 The Candidates are advised to attend document verification and genuineness of their candidature on their scheduled date and timing given in the result for document verification dated 11-08-2017 alongwith e-call letter for document verification downloaded from official website of RRB Allahabad, after reading points mentioned above and paras given in the result for Document verification dated 11-08-2017 as well as paras given in CEN
03/2015.
