Post Graduate Teacher (PGT)
Educational Qualifications
- Master’s degree in the relevant subject with at least 50% aggregate marks, from a recognized university.
- B.Ed. (Bachelor of Education) or an equivalent teaching qualification.
- Proficiency in teaching through both English and Hindi mediums.
Age Limit
Candidates must be between 18 and 48 years of age as on 01.01.2025.
Trained Graduate Teacher (TGT)
Educational Qualifications
Candidates must satisfy one of the following options:
1. Graduation in the relevant subject with at least 50% marks plus a B.Ed. or D.El.Ed. (Diploma in Elementary Education).
2. Graduation with 45% marks plus B.Ed. or D.El.Ed., as per NCTE norms.
3. 10+2 with at least 50% marks plus a 4-year B.El.Ed., B.A.Ed., or B.Sc.Ed. degree.
4. Graduation (any subject) with at least 50% marks and a 1-year B.Ed. in Special Education.
Additionally, candidates must have:
- Passed TET (Teacher Eligibility Test) conducted by the respective state or central authorities.
- Ability to teach in English medium.
- A 5% relaxation in qualifying marks is provided for reserved categories such as SC/ST/OBC/PwBD.
Age Limit
Must be between 18 and 48 years of age as on 01.01.2025.
