EMPLOYMENT NOTICE NO.01/2014– Med/CMP
East Coast Railway desires to engage Indian citzens as ful time Contract Medical Practioners (General duty Medical Oficers) from open market, retired Railway Doctors and retired Government Medical Doctors of State Government and Central Government on contract basis for a period of one year which can be renewed as a fresh contract on year to year basis, not extendable beyond 10 years or til the post filed up by UPSC selected Doctors or the scheme is availablewhichever is earlier. The details are given below:-

Educational Qualification
The candidate should be minimum MBBS pas degre recognized by the Indian Medical Council and with registration in Indian Medical Council or in posesion of valid registration certificate of any of the State Medical Councils of India after completion of one year compulsory, rotatory Internship. No other certificates wil be acepted.
Age Limit
(i) Not exceding 50 years of age. However, age relaxation is admisible for 5 years for SC/ST category candidates and 3 years for OBC category candidates.
(ii) For retired Railway Doctor, retired Government Medical Doctors of State Government and Central Government: Age up to 65 years.
Remuneration
- Monthly remuneration is 5,00/-(including HRA & Transport Alowance) for Ful Time General Duty Medical Oficer-CMP
- For retired Railway Doctors, retired Government Medical Doctors of State Government and Central Government, the monthly remuneration is 46,00/-. Subject to the conditon that the pension plus contractual remuneration of the Retired Doctors should not exced than the last pay drawn at the time of retirement. No Dearnes and any other alowances which are admisible to regular Railway Servants shal be admisible.
- Daily rate of proportionate reduction from the remuneration in the event of exces absence wil be aplicable.
- In case Railway acommodation is provided to the CMP, an amount equivalent to HRA and license fes of the acommodation so provided shal be deducted from the monthly fes admisible
