Salary : Grad Pay Rs.1900/-

Education Qualification:

  • A President's Scout/Guide/Ranger/Rover (or) Himalayan Wood Badge Holder (or) A pre-HWB trained Scout Leader / Advanced Trained Guider / Leader / Captain.

  • Should have been an active member of a Scouts organisation for at least 3 (three) years in recent past and should continue to be active; @

  • Should have attended at least one event at National level and one or two events at State Level; # (or) Should have a good record of participation in Scouts/Guides at Unit/District level;$

Scouts & Guides

Total Posts: 12

Age Limit : 18 to 33

Salary : Grad Pay Rs.1800/-

Education Qualification:

Procedure For Recruitment Against Cultural Quota

Written Test (Note: The written test will consist of objective type questions) 50 Marks

Procedure For Recruitment For Scouts & Guides Quota

Written Test The Written Test will consist of 50 objective type questions relating to Scouts
& Guides organisation and its activities as per syllabus.

Scouts and Guides qualification over and above the minimum prescribed as eligibility condition 35 Marks
(a) Participation in International event 7 Marks
(b) Participation in National Events / National Jamboree 7 Marks
(c) Participation in Jamboree on the Indian Railways 7 Marks
(d) Events / Rallies attended at State Level 7 Marks
(e) Specialised Scouts / Guides Course Pioneering / Mapping and Standard Judging Course / Vocational Craft Course (one course – 5 Marks; two or more courses – 7 Marks)

Examination Fee

The examination fee of Rs. 40/- (Rupees Forty only) for post with grade pay of Rs. 1,900/-and Rs.100/- (Rupees One Hundred only) for post with grade pay of A 1,800/- is payable either in the form of Demand Drafts (DD) / Indian Postal Orders (IPO), drawn in favour of 'Assistant Personnel Officer / Recruitment', payable at Chennai.
