About RRC Allahabad:
Ministry of Railways (Railway Board) vide their letter no. E(NG)-II/96/RR-1/62 dated 18-07-2005 delegated powers for recruitment to Group-'D' posts to General Managers. In pursuance to this, the Railway Recruitment Cell was opened in North Central Railway.
The Railway Recruitment Cell is entrusted with the responsibility to make recruitment to all Group-'D' posts including recruitment under physically handicapped quota on Zonal Railway on North Central Railway and other units in its jurisdiction.
Jurisdiction
The cell caters to filling up of Group-'D' vacancies in Allahabad, Agra, Jhansi and other workshops as well as extra divisional units in the territorial jurisdictions of North Central Railway.
