Applications are invited for the 02 [two] Group 'C' posts in PB- (1) Rs 5200-20200 with Grade Pay Rs. 1900/2000 against Cultural Quota for Headquarter of East Central Railway, Hajipur in the following discipline:

Educational Qualification
-
Matriculation with 50% marks and its equivalent or Higher Education.

Possession of degree/diploma/certificate in concerned discipline from Government recognized Institute.
Desirable
-
Experience in the field and performance given on AIR/Doordarshan etc.

Prizes won at National Level.
Age
18 to 30 years [age will reckoned on 01.01.2015]
[Upper age relaxation of 05 years for SC/ST candidates, 03 years for OBC candidates and 10 years for Physically Challenged Person.]
Examination Fees
The examination fee to be paid through Indian Postal Order will be ` 100/- (Rupees One hundred) only. Date of issue of Indian Postal Order should not before the date of issue of this Employment Notice.

All Women Candidates, SC & ST, Ex-Servicemen, Persons with 40% or above Disabilities, candidate of Minorities and Economically Backward Class are fully exempted from examination fees.

Economically Backward Class candidates, whose family income is less than ` 50,000 per annum are also fully exempted from examination fees. (They have to produce income certificate on letter head in the prescribed format as given in annexure. )
Indian Postal Order should be pledged in favour of ‘FA & CAO, East Central Railway’ and payable at Hajipur. Examination fee will not be refundable in any circumstance.
How & Whom to Apply
The given format should be neatly typed either in Hindi or English with one Passport size photograph to be pasted [duly signed] on the application form and two passport size photographs duly signed at back side should be clipped along the application form. Application should be sent to Sr. Personnel Officer /Recruitment., East Central Railway, Head Quarter Office, Hajipur, Distt.-Vaishali (Bihar) PIN- 844101 so as to reach this office on above mentioned date by ordinary post or to be dropped in the application box provided for the purpose in above office up to 18.00 Hrs. on or before the date mentioned above. No receipt at the counter will be given.
All the candidates should indicate clearly “Application against Cultural Quota”, Employment Notice No. ECR/HRD/Rectt/Cultural Quota/2014-15 & Community on the top of the envelope.
Selection Procedure
Selection will be conducted through written test and assessment of talent in the relevant field on the basis of Practical Demonstration and testimonials/Prizes etc.
The mode of selection, date, venue and time will be intimated to the eligible candidate by post. The decision of East Central Railway in all matters relating to eligibility, acceptance or rejection of application, allotment of venues will be final and binding on the candidates. No inquiry or correspondence will be entertained in this connection.
