(Jobs) Recruitment of Sports Persons Posts in East Central Railway 2013

Applications are invited from the eligible and outstanding sportspersons in the prescribed format (given here under) for filling up of 21 (Twenty One) vacancies in Pay Band-1 (Pay Scale `R 5200-20200) in Grade Pay R 2000/1900 & R 2800/2400- ; 10 (Ten) vacancies in Grade Pay R 1800 in ECR HQ/Hajipur and total 25
(Twenty Five) vacancies in all the 5-Divisions of E.C.Railway i.e. Dhanbad, Danapur. Mughalsarai, Sonpur and Samastipur (05 vacancies in each Division) in Grade Pay R 1800 against Sports Quota

Age Limit :

• The age limit will be 18-25 years. (The age of sports person will be reckoned as on 01.01.2014).

Educational Qualification:-

• In G.P.- R1800 – Matriculation or ITI or equivalent
• In G.P- R 1900/2000- Matriculation with 50% marks or equivalent or higher qualification
• In G.P- R2400- Intermediate in Science with Maths & Physics (If recruited in Technician Grade)
• In G.P- R 2800- Graduation or equivalent.

Examination Fee :

• The examination fees for recruitment against Sports Quota will be R60/- (for Grade Pay- R2800/2400/-) and R 40/- (for Grade Pay- R 2000/1900 & R 1800/-)
• Indian Postal Order should be in favour of “FA & CAO, East Central Railway” & payable at Hajipur.

How To Apply:

1. The given format should be neatly typed or hand written either in English or Hindi on a A-4 size paper and should be filled in own hand writing. One passport size photograph should be pasted at the specific space on the application form duly signed on the top by the candidate.
2. Two similar passport size photographs (same as affixed in the application form duly signed on the top) should be clipped along with the Application Form.
3. Self Attested copies of all certificates in support of age, caste (applicable for Central Government services), educational qualification, sports achievements & other qualifications should be enclosed along with the Application.
4. ndian Postal Order worth R60/- or R 40/- as the case may be, should be attached with the application. (v) In Team Games, the certificate for actual participation in the field of play issued by the competent authority must be enclosed with the application.
5. In case of serving employee “No Objection Certificate” from the employer should be attached.
6. More than one application in one envelope will summarily be rejected. (viii) Only those candidates who fulfill the prescribed norms, should apply.
