RRB Exam Scam Accused Mastermind held in Sonepat
The UT police's cyber crime wing on Wednesday arrested the alleged mastermind of the leak of a question paper of group-D job exam of the Northern Railways. The scam had come to light on December 8, and six beneficiaries had been arrested. "Kingpin" Ashok Kumar, a resident of Sonepat in Haryana, was arrested by from the city and would be produced in court on Thursday.
Deputy superintendent of police (DSP) in charge of the cyber cell, Rajesh Kalia, said, "We will seek remand of the accused as more information needs to be extracted from him." The accused is a Class-12 passout and a farmer.
