Age Limit :
- i) Age as on 01/01/2014 should be between 18-25 years.
- ii) No relaxation in lower or upper age limit is permissible.
- iii) In the case of talent scouting quota, the lower and upper age relaxation shall be granted only by the Railway Board to the outstanding sportspersons.
Educational Qualifications :

* Those selected as Senior Clerk/Junior Clerk are required to possess
proficiency in Typewriting of 30 WPM in English or 25 WPM in Hindi within a
period of FOUR years from the date of appointment.
* In the case of talent scouting quota, for Technician Gr.III posts, sports
persons who have outstanding performance in the field of their sport but do not
have the requisite qualification (Act Apprentice/ITI) can also be considered,
provided they possess the minimum qualification of Std.X pass, subject approval
of the Railway Board prior to appointment. However, they require to provide an
undertaking that the qualification will be acquired within a period of 4 years,
if appointed.
Fees:
A fee of Rs. 40/- (Rs.60/- for applicants to posts of Grade Pay Rs.2800/-) must be paid only through Demand Draft/ Crossed Indian Postal Order drawn in favour of Asst. Personnel Officer/ICF payable at Chennai. Candidates must write their name, full address at the space provided in the postal order. The fee is not refundable under any circumstances. SC/ST/PWD candidates are exempted from paying fees. Persons with Disabilities can only apply for the game of Chess.
How To Apply :
Applications should be strictly in the prescribed format as appended, shall be filled in A4 size GSM Bond paper. The application format is also available in the ICF website www.icf.indianrailways.gov.in Along with the application form an IPO for an amount of sRs.40/- (or Rs.60/-) should be enclosed.
