Applications are invited for recruitment against Scout and Guide Quota on Firozpur Division

Age : As on 01/07/2014, 18-33 years

Grade Pay : PB-01(Rs.5200-20200) GP Rs. 1800

Minimum Education :- Class 10th Passed

Scout and Guide Qualification:-

• A President Scout/Guide/Rover/Ranger OR Himalayan Wood Badge OR A Pre- Himalayan Wood Badge Holder trained Scout Leader/ Advanced Trained
  Guide/ Leader/ Captain.
• Should have been an active member of Scout & Guide Organization for at least 03Years in the recent past and should continue to be Active.(Active member means that he/she should be member of only one scouting organization)
• Should have attended at least one event at National level and One or Two event at State level OR Should have a good record of participation in Scout & Guide activities at Unit/ District Level.

Examination Fee:-

• For General & OBC Candidate Only Rs. 40/- and SC/ST Candidates only Rs. 10/- by Indian Postal Order or Bank Draft/ Demand Draft only, in Favour of District Commissioner Scouts, Firozpur payable at Firozpur.

How to apply:-

• Applications are in own handwriting on the prescribed proforma duly typed on A-4 size of good quality paper be sent.

• Application other than on the prescribed proforma or incomplete application will be rejected.

• Candidate should fill application form in Hindi/English Language only.

• Two PP Size recent photographs with Scout and Guide Uniform paste one on the specified place in the application form and attach 2nd one with the application form.

• Attach Photostat copies of the age, educational qualification and caste etc. certificates duly attested by the Gazetted Officer with the application form.

• One candidate should apply on one application form only otherwise his application will be rejected.

• Application form dully filled and complete in all respect may be sent by any postal mode to Assistant Personnel Officer , Northern Railway DRM Office, Firozpur (Punjab) well before the last date.

• This office will not responsible for any postal delay.

• Only eligible candidates may apply, otherwise application form will be rejected.

• Applications received after last date will not be considered.

• Railway administration reserves the right to cancel the selection in the exceptional circumstances.

• Written test will be held on 09/03/2014.(Call letter to eligible candidates will be send by post)
