Recruitment Against Cultural Quota

Employment Notice No. DMW/002/2013 Cultural Quota

Jr. Clerk -Classical Singer (Vocal) (Female)

Salary : Rs.5200-20200 + Grade Pay Rs.1900/-

Education Qualification:

• Matriculation or its equivalent with at least 50% marks in the aggregate. This condition shall not be insisted upon in the case of those candidates who possess any educational qualification higher than matriculation. The condition of minimum 50% marks shall not apply in the case of candidates belonging to SC/ST community and also those who are physically handicapped persons.

• Possession of Degree/ Diploma/ Certificate in Music (Vocal) from Government recognized Institute.

Experience : Experience in the field and performance given on AIR / Doordarshan etc.

Age Limit: 18-30 years as on 01.01.2014

Selection Method:

The eligible candidates who apply against Cultural Quota will be assessed on the basis of written test (Objective type questions) and assessment of talent in the relevant field on the basis of (i) Practical demonstration & (ii) Testimonials / Prizes etc.

The persons appointed as Clerk against Cultural quota will be required to possess proficiency in Typing within a period of two years from the date of appointment and their appointment will be provisional subject to acquiring the typing qualification within the stipulated period.

Application Fee:

As per extent instructions of Railway Board, women are exempted from any Examination Fee

No other means/ mode of applications will be accepted.

Applicants are first required to go to the DMW’s above website. Then they shall click on the ‘News & information’. Then they shall click on the ‘Recruitment’. Then they are required to open the link ‘Cultural Quota’. The following two links shall be seen there:-
