(Walk-in) East Central Railway : Recruitment of General Duty Medical Practitioners & Specialist Doctors for Various Division - 2013

“Walk-In-Interview” will be conducted by East Central Railway as mentioned below for engagement of full time General Duty Medical Practitioner/Specialists for various Divisions/Units/Project of East Central Railway. Willing Doctors who fulfill the qualification/eligibility criteria specified below may apply for the above engagement. The engagement will be offered purely on Contract basis for the period up to 13.01.2014 which can be renewed as a fresh contract on year to year basis, not extendable beyond 8 years or till the post filled up by regular Doctors selected from UPSC whichever is earlier.

Education Qualification for Medical Practitioners  :

• MBBS with internship.
• Registered with Medical Council of India/Medical Council of State.

Remuneration for Medical Practitioners :

• Rs. 39400/- (Thirty Nine Thousand Four Hundread only) per month, if Railway accommodation is not provided. If Railway accommodation is provided , deduction will be made from the monthly remuneration equivalent to House Rent Allowance payable on minimum pay of Junior Scale officer (Rs.8000-13500/5th Pay Commission) and fixed licence fee for accommodation.

Qualification for Specialist Doctors :

• Degree/Diploma in corresponding specialty .

• PG degree holder will be given preference over diploma holder in a particular field.

• Registered with Medial Council of India/ Medial Council of State.

Remuneration for Specialist Doctors :

• Rs. 46800/- ( Forty Six Thousand Eight Hundread) per month, if Railway accommodation is not provided. If Railway accommodation is provided, deduction will be made from the monthly remuneration equivalent to House Rent Allowance payable on minimum pay of Senior Scale officer (Rs. 10000-15200/- 5th Pay Commission) and fixed licence fee for accommodation.

1 . For- Central Hospital, Danapur Division, Mughalsarai Division, Sonpur Division, Samastipur Division & RWP/Bela Project

Venue of Walk-in-interview : Office of MD/Central Hospital/Karbigahiya/Patna

Date of Walk-in-interview : 18.12.2013

2. For- Dhanbad Division

Venue of Walk-in-interview : Office of Chief Mdical Superetendent/Divisional Rly. Hospital/Dhanbad

Date of Walk-in-interview : 20.12.2013

Age limit :

•  Not exceeding 50 years as on 13.11.2013 for both specialist & General Duty Doctors, which is relaxable by 5 years for candidates belonging to SC/ST
  communities & 03 years for OBC.

How To Apply :

Applicant intending to join as Contract Medical Practitioner should apply on prescribed format enclosed alongwith self attested photocopies of following documents and attend the Walkin- interview with original certificates mentioned below:-

• Proof of age.

• Proof of passing MBBS/Internship/PG Degree/Diploma & other educational certificate.

• Proof of registration in Indian Medical Council/Medial Council of State..

• Proof of caste in case of SC/ST candidate & creamy layer certificate in case of OBC candidate– only Central Govt. prescribed format will be accepted.

• Mark Sheet(s) of relevant qualification.

• 4(four) copies of passport size photograph with self signature.
